This interdisciplinary project, a collaboration with colleagues from the University of Glasgow and the Glasgow School of Art, focused on how photography and writing can be used to enhance emotional wellbeing in community groups. Dr Alessia Zinnari (School of Modern Languages and Cultures) and Alex Withey (Glasgow School of Art) co-created and developed ‘A Toolkit for CAMERA’ (Creative Approaches to Memory and Emotions through Research and Art) through delivering a series of workshops at the Annexe in Partick, Glasgow.
I provided visual notes during workshops and digitally rendered the hand drawn images for inclusion in a Toolkit, to be developed by Alessia and Alex, which will outline the ways in which photography and English Language sessions can be delivered successfully to community groups.
