As part of an academic study exploring the STEM career journeys of women in Rwanda and India, I made hand-drawn notes in response to qualitative data from over 60 in-depth interviews.
My visual notes were digitally developed used in a short video to showcase the study’s results; the images offer an additional interpretive layer to the data. The video is an engaging way to communicate the complex, highly gendered personal and professional pathways of the participants.
